Is it bad....

Is it bad that the most exciting part of my day is that I finally got the hubs to put up a clothesline? I have been meaning to get that done since we moved in, and today it finally happened. I hung out all the comforters today to dry and air and I just got a lot of happy goodness from watching them flutter in the warm sun and breeze. I'm actually kind of excited about the prospect of washing laundry just so I can hang it on the clothesline.

I'm not really sure what that says about me as a person... but there you have it!

i have a clothesline and i LOVE it. hanging my laundry brings me a certain joy that i get no where else. i love the earthy, fresh way everything smells afterwards. i even love the crispy towels. its one of the few things im going to miss about my house here in florida.

when we move we'll be apartment dwellers for at least a year, so ill have to do without. sad.

I think it says something nice about you as a person. There's something so romantic about hanging up a basket of wet, sweet-smelling sheets in the soft hazy summer morning...

I wish I had a clothesline! Growing up, we always had one. I live in a subdivision now, so until we get a privacy fence, there will be no clothesline. I have my fingers crossed for a fence this summer.

I miss having a clothesline!! That's one of the things I really want when we finally find our house! I love line-dried clothing and sheets.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in the clothesline department. I've always loved even just the look of clothes drying outside. All lined up nice and neat. Our comforters from yesterday smelled SOOOO good. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this two dollar roll of twine. LOL

Beki- only half our yard is fenced in, and it's really our neighbors fence... our back yard is still fairly private though. I hang everything outside, and then I have a small line hung in the wash room to hang underthings. Not as nice as outside, but close if I open the window. I don't really care if people see my jeans and such flappin in the breeze. LOL
