Book Review: Dead Until Dark

LOVED IT! Addicted. In fact, I just sent the hubby out to the store to buy the next book in the series because after all, it's still early and I don't have plans for tomorrow.
Being originally from Lafitte, LA right outside of New Orleans, I really enjoyed Harris's characters. A lot of them reminded me of my relatives, and I loved her choice of character names. I thought she fleshed all of them out really well and I found them all to be really believable. P.S.- I love that the vampire's name is Bill instead of some kuschy name like "Pierre."
Other than that I really liked the mix of mystery, murder, and the supernatural and of course the romantic interest. My kind of book. Can't wait to start the next one!

ooooh ive read all of these and like them too. its not brain surgery, but just a quick, fun, read. i highly recommend renting the show too if you get a chance. (like you have time for tv though, right?)

its really only based on the books, so it doesnt follow the events of the books exactly, which makes it kinda fun to watch because you never really know whats going to happen.
